Church Boards
The character, competence and effectiveness of church lay leadership is foundational to the building of Christ's Church in the local church. Yet many church board teams do not do well. They struggle with Biblical leadership and unity. They rely on secular leadership principles instead of Christ principles. A new paradigm, a Christ-centered paradigm needs to be established for church lay leadership to operate effectively.

Church Board Training Manual
Many church board teams do not work well. They have trouble understanding Biblical leadership, the unity of the Spirit or how to follow the leadership of the Spirit. They are good people - they love God and endeavor to lead holy lives - but they are not effective leaders in helping build Christ's Church Christ's way. Interim Pastor Ministries has identified this lack of leadership and developed a Training Manual, which provides a Biblical basis and proven leadership principles to train church boards. Unhealthy Church Boards
Many church leaders and church boards fail to lead in a way that reflects Christ's character or the excellence God's work requires. Almost always, such failure is a consequence of not understanding or obeying Biblical leadership. Central issues like the unity of the Spirit and Fruit of the Spirit get lost in the details of management, personal agendas, and conflict. Leadership in the church is fundamentally different from leadership in the secular world. The Church is Christ's and everything done in leading His Church must be done Christ's way and in His spirit.
